      The Service Delivery Division provides income and disability assistance services online, by phone, or face to face in our communities. We strive to ensure our services are reliable, responsive, inclusive, and accessible to all British Columbians who need our support.

      The Manager, Analytics and Business Intelligence manages the Division’s metrics, data and reporting needs that are used to drive the planning, management, and measurement of the business. In addition, the position is responsible for quality assurance reporting for services delivered both virtually and face to face.

      Job Requirements:

      • Post-secondary education in business administration, data analytics, information management or a related field with two years of experience in data analysis and business intelligence or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
      • Experience leading and supervising staff.
      • Experience developing and maintaining working relationships and resolving problems with stakeholders.
      • Experience planning, coordinating, managing, and evaluating complex projects and work assignments.


      Preference may be given to applicants with:

      • Experience creating evaluation plans, including developing key performance indicators, and setting performance targets in collaboration with business partners.
      • Experience applying Information Governance and Data Governance best practices and frameworks.
      • Experience implementing best practices for user interface (UI) and user experience (UX) in designing business artifacts.

      About this Position:
      Flexible work options are available; this position may be able to work up to 5 days at home per week subject to an approved telework agreement.
      This position can be based in any Ministry of Social Development and Poverty Reduction office. The locations listed above are to assist applicants in searching for this opportunity and are not a complete list of locations.
