Job summary
An exciting opportunity has arisen in the Outpatient Department (OPD) for a Clinic Preparation Supervisor. The Outpatient Administrative Department is looking for an enthusiastic and motivated leader to join their team. Interested individuals will have relevant experience working within an Outpatient Department and are looking to enhance their professional skills in a management role. We are particularly looking for a dynamic individual who is passionate about Outpatients and wants to make a difference to patient care.
Main duties of the job
To be responsible for the effective day-to-day operational supervision of the clinic prep service. Working closely with the Clinic Preparation Co-ordinator and colleagues in the team, the post holder will ensure that the service supports the operational, clinical and business needs of the Trust. Providing timely preparation and supply of health records for the outpatient clinics
To ensure the department and its members follow Trust policies and department Standard Operating Procedures (SOP's) ensuring adherence to all Trust requirements while functions of the department are carried out to the required standard and timescales.

We're looking forward to introducing an electronic patient record next year. This will mean the records of any patient visiting one of the seven hospitals run by BHRUT and Barts Health will be accessible to the clinical teams. It'll make things easier for staff and will be better for patients.
