      Job summary

      We are looking an enthusiastic band 5 nurse to join the team of research nurses working within the Cardiovascular Research Centre (CRC) at Royal Brompton hospital. Our research facilities within the hospital include state of the art cardiac imaging, a genetics and genomics research laboratory, and interventional catheter laboratories and theatre suites for leading-edge trans-disciplinary research, along with a dedicated clinical research facility.

      Main duties of the job

      You will join a team supporting research studies in a range of cardiovascular conditions including heart failure, valvular disease, cardiac arrhythmias, inherited cardiac diseases, pulmonary hypertension as well as critical care research projects.

      You will be required to work within a multi-disciplinary team and have a flexible approach to the position. You will be based primarily at our Royal Brompton Hospital site, but the post may also involve some work at our other hospital sites in London. Previous experience of working within a cardiology/critical care setting would be an advantage, but not essential as training will be provided where necessary. You will be working closely with the Pulmonary Hypertension and Critical Care team.
