- Diploma or degree in physiotherapy
- Knowledge of working within the NHS

Job summary
Come and work for the SBUHB Physiotherapy Service in beautiful Swansea Bay, with fabulous coastline, outdoor pursuits, and mountain walking all within easy travelling distance.
Joining our team you will be afforded fantastic opportunities for CPD, teaching and mentoring through senior staff educated to Masters level, or above. We have long established links with multiple South Wales Universities, for undergrad and post- grad Physio education, including the provision of student placements.
Recently we have had many staff secure HEIW funding for post graduate study. We have strong relationships with the School of Health Science, and School of Medicine at Swansea University, both in terms of accessing post-grad courses, supporting research projects, and providing teaching and education to medical students.
The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this post; Welsh and/or English speakers are equally welcome to apply.
Main duties of the job
Main Duties:
To manage a defined caseload, using evidence based /client centred principles to assess, plan, implement and evaluate interventions in hospital & community settings and on home visits.
To be an active participant in the On Call rota and the 7-day working rota.
To maintain clinical records and report accurately to others.
To develop skills and knowledge through participation in the band 5 Development Programme and competency framework.
To gain experience through participation in the 4 monthly rotational scheme and complete all core objectives.
