- You will participate in the provision of a breast screening imaging and diagnostic service for the West Berkshire Breast Screening Service and the Symptomatic Breast Service.
- Work as part of a multidisciplinary team providing Screening and Symptomatic mammography including tomosynthesis, biopsy, VAB, VAE and localisation including Magseed.
- In the absence of a Radiologist use experience and judgement of previous cases to take further images to demonstrate an area of abnormality.
- Lay-up trolleys for intervention and assist with the procedures e.g. biopsies.
- You will be required to work within the Radiology Department, the Breast Screening Unit and on the community based Mobile Screening Unit(s).
- State Registration with the Health & Care Professions Council (HCPC).
- BSc Degree in Radiography or equivalent radiographic qualification, DCR(R).
- Evidence of recent and extensive post-registration experience at Band 5.
- Proven clinical experience across a range of radiographic equipment and techniques.
