      Job responsibilities

      Band 6 MRI Radiographer We have an exciting opportunity for a Band 6 MRI Radiographer to join our Radiology team based at The London Clinic in central London. With a competitive salary range on offer Band 6 NHS equivalent dependent on skills and experinece. Job Profile The MRI Radiographer will ensure the highest standard of patient care, to scan patients, working closely with the Band 7 radiographers. Job Type: This is a full-time, permanent position working 37.5 hours per week Shifts: Monday - Friday., with on call rota; saturday-sunday Location: The London Clinic's Radiology Department, 20 Devinshire Place. Salary: The salary for this role is competitive and Band 6 Benefits package:

    • Contributory pension scheme (total annual contribution up to 20%).

    • Key Duties
    • To scan patients, working closely with the Band 7 Radiographers .
    • Ensure a high standard of patient care, and participate in the monitoring of standards
    • Ensure that any person entering the MRI scanner is appropriately safety checked in accordance with departmental policy
    • Ensure that patients, relatives and staff are appropriately informed of any discussions relating to patient examinations
    • Assess the physical, mental and communication abilities and needs of individual patients
    • Position patients accurately for the appropriate examinations, taking into account their abilities, needs and limitations
    • Assist in radiological procedures, utilising their nursing skills, knowledge and experience
