      Job summary

      Birmingham and Solihull Mental Health Foundation Trust is looking to recruit a practitioner who is passionate about physical health training within our mental health services.

      Although this is a full time role, we are willing to look at flexible hours, part-time or job share.

      Main duties of the job

      We are looking for someone with experience in physical health education

      The post-holder will support the improvement of our clinical staff knowledge and skills in physical health care. The successful candidate will work alongside our Lead clinical educator in Physical Health, specialist physical health teams, our learning and development department and individualised wards and units to provide evidenced-based physical health training, with priorities regularly reviewed.

      The candidate must be confident in their skills to develop training which will include formal, informal and ad-hoc training to our staff.

      The candidate must have presentation and education skills to deliver appropriate training packages suitable for all our front line staff.

      The successful candidate will work in collaboration with the team to review and promote our physical health competency evaluation with support in providing evaluation reports to the physical health teams.
