Job summary

Main duties of the job
This post is for a Mental Health & Learning Disability qualified clinician / allied health professional for a team which works jointly with the local authorities, and commissioned organisations to process, fund and then undertake quality assurance reviews for both s117 aftercare packages and specialist hospital placements for Birmingham & Solihull ICS. As well as undertaking specific clinical work to ensure Dol's are in place for submission to the Court of Protection. The post involves both self directed / lone and team working .

About the company
National Health Service (NHS) is the umbrella term for the publicly-funded healthcare systems of the United Kingdom (UK). The founding principles were that services should be comprehensive, universal and free at the point of delivery—a health service based on clinical need, not ability to pay. Each service provides a comprehensive range of health services, free at the point of use for people ordinarily resident in the United Kingdom apart from dental treatment and optical care.
