- Providing first line treatment for Eating Disorders as per NICE guidelines, including systemic and 1:1 therapeutic modalities.

Job summary
We have an opportunity for a highly motivated, dedicated and enthusiastic Clinical Psychologist to join LPT's eating disorder services. This will be a split role, across both CAMHS and Adult Eating Disorder teams.
The teams are based at Mawson House (CAMHS) and at the Glenfield Hospital Site (AED). This is a new split post across both services and is an exciting opportunity for developing and improving the pathway between the two services, alongside gaining clinical experience and expertise across the lifespan. This post is full-time and substantive.
The CAMHS eating disorder team provides specialist assessment and treatment for young people and their families up until the age of 18 years, presenting with Anorexia, Bulimia, Binge Eating Disorder and ARFID.
The Adult Eating Disorder Service provides outpatient and inpatient services, a day patient service, alongside the FREED pathway for 16-25 year olds.
We are two diverse multi disciplinary teams, with an established psychology structure including qualified psychologists, a clinical associate psychologist and assistant psychologists.
There are multiple opportunities for training and development, and you will be provided with a robust induction programme, with relevant in-house training to equip you to provide first line treatment.
Main duties of the job
The team currently consists of psychiatry, nursing, psychology, family therapy (CAMHS) child and adolescent psychotherapy (CAMHS), dietetic and occupational therapy staff who work closely with outpatient, inpatient and adult services.
Within the core team we offer early specialist assessment and intervention using evidence-based approaches to young people up to the age of 18 years old and their families.
