Job summary
We are looking to recruit *High Intensity CBT therapists to be part of BHM NHS Talking Therapies in delivering Step 3 High Intensity interventions for depression and anxiety disorders. If this is you, we can offer agile working wherein you work from both office and home base each week. Coming into our bases gives the therapist the opportunity to deliver face to face intervention which meets the needs of the clients within our service.
BHM offers great opportunities to develop your skills as we have purchased a bespoke training package in addition to inhouse training to ensure that your CPD requirements are met. You will access regular clinical supervision as well as 1:1 supervision from your line manager.
There is a keen focus on staff wellbeing and we have wellbeing champions within each of our team.
* This role is also suitable for trainees who are imminently due to gain the qualification of High Intensity Post Graduate CBT Diploma
In addition we offer a one off relocation allowance for successful applicant(s) - (subject to eligibility)
Main duties of the job
Undertaking comprehensive psychological assessment of clients referred to Birmingham Healthy Minds NHS Talking Therapies Service and delivering high intensity psychological interventions at step 3.
Delivering group therapy and evidence based interventions to patients with common mental health difficulties.
To formulate treatment plans based on sound and current theoretical knowledge
Agile working which combines the benefit of coming into team bases and also working from home whilst accommodating patient's choice.
Offering a range of talking therapies and group programmes for people with common mental health difficulties.
