- Work with the PCRFs, Practice Senior Medical Officers (SMO), the Regional Clinical Director, Regional Operations Manager and DPHC Headquarters for the planning of rehabilitation and lead in the development of PCRF service delivery within the Region.
- Provide safe, evidence-based, cost-effective and individualised patient care. To be aware of the boundaries of their own practice and to manage the associated clinical risk effectively at all times.
- To work autonomously using advanced levels of history taking and examination skills within the multi-disciplinary team, guidelines and protocols. Utilise advanced clinical skills in assessment and/or formulate a diagnosis and/or treatment plan.
- To act as a specialist clinical advisor to the RCD in management of complaints about rehabilitation services.

- A degree or diploma in Physiotherapy and must have a relevant post-graduate, post registration masters level degree and experience working at this level
- Must have significant relevant postgraduate clinical and managerial experience, including healthcare governance and appraisals.
- Must have proven expert experience in the assessment and treatment of musculoskeletal disorders, sports injuries and orthopaedic conditions.
- Must have proven experience in the application of manual therapy and exercise therapy.

We are seeking to recruit a dynamic, organised and enthusiastic Band 8A Regional Rehabilitation Advisor to join our vibrant and fast paced organisation here at Defence Primary Health Care Regional Headquarters ( DPHC RHQ) In Tidworth.
Main duties of the job
The post holder will be accountable for the direct delivery of occupationally focused advance primary healthcare rehabilitation within medical facilities. They will deliver independent expert assessment, clinical examination, diagnosis, clinical decision making, and planning of complex clinical decisions regarding service user management and clinical outcomes.
