ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES

The Band Musician and or vocalist is a music professional who is a part of the Worship Team. The Worship Team leads the church body in worshiping through song. We are seeking Christian musicians and vocalists who are able to play and lead modern songs as well as classic hymns. The Worship Band typically includes keyboards, guitars (acoustic, bass, and electric), drums, stringed instruments, brass instruments and vocalists. The musician is required to learn the music - typically 5-6 songs per week. This role is compensated at a flat rate per week based on the number of services played and the experience level of the musician. This position reports to the Campus Worship Pastor.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Vibrant relationship with Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior
• Distinct calling and passion for music and leading others in worship
• Must be available to work Sunday services and to attend one mid-week rehearsal per week
• Must be familiar with the Nashville number system, sheet music and chord charts
• Must work well on a team
• Adaptable and flexible

• Responsible and punctual to attend scheduled rehearsals
• Able to accept direction and challenges from Worship Pastor
• Musically creative yet able to serve the greater purpose of the gathering by bringing honor and glory to our creator, Jesus.
