Job Description

- Dealing with patients, healthcare colleagues and other professionals over the phone, face to face and via email, delivering a high level service at all times
- Provide a high quality admin service to the healthcare team
- Coordinate clinics and chase referrals (internal and external)
- Arrange and chase hospital appointments, prisoner release and transfers, and arrange appointments for follow on care
- Scan paperwork, process applications, and collect paperwork from the wings
- we treat patients and each other as we would like to be treated

- Experience within an administrative role / setting - any experience in a healthcare environment would be an advantage (GP surgery, hospital etc)
- Excellent customer service skills

We have a fantastic opportunity for an Administrator to join the team on a bank basis at HMP Wymott, a Category C male prison located on the outskirts of Lancaster. HMP Wymott has capacity of around 1,100, and has a varied and complex population.
HMP Wymott offers a fast paced, unique rewarding environment to learn and develop. Our admin team are at the heart of the healthcare team, supporting all healthcare pathways (primary care, mental health and substance misuse), and delivering excellent customer service to patients.Salary
This is a bank position, with an hourly rate of £13.25.
Hours This bank role offers shifts between Monday to Friday, 8am and 5pm.How will we support you?
