      Your Role:

      • Follow Infection Prevention and Control best practices to maintain a safe and sanitary environment.

      • Adhere to health and safety protocols, ensuring responsible manual handling and preventing hazards such as trailing leads or wet floors.

      • Deliver exceptional cleaning standards across all assigned areas with thorough attention to detail.

      • Support the team by completing additional duties as required, contributing to a professional and well-kept workspace.

      Main duties of the job

      Primary Duties and Responsibilities

      Cleaning & Hygiene:

      • Perform routine cleaning tasks, including sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and dusting, ensuring all assigned areas meet high cleanliness standards.

      • Sanitise restrooms, empty waste bins, and maintain common areas such as waiting rooms.

      • Maintain clinical areas to NHS guidelines, ensuring hygiene and infection control compliance.

      • Clean windows, glass surfaces, and fixtures as required.

      Equipment & Supplies:

      • Operate and maintain cleaning equipment to ensure functionality.

      • Stock and replenish cleaning supplies for daily use.

      • Handle and store cleaning products safely, adhering to all regulations.

      Safety & Compliance:

      • Follow health and safety protocols, including proper use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).

      • Report maintenance issues or safety hazards promptly.

      • Ensure no hazards, such as wet floors or trailing leads, are left unattended.

      Communication & Teamwork:

      • Maintain clear communication with managers, supervisors and colleagues regarding cleaning tasks and schedules.

      • Respond professionally to any requests or concerns.

      • Represent the company with a positive and proactive attitude.

      Quality Assurance:

      • Ensure consistently high standards of cleanliness, paying attention to detail.

      • Report maintenance or repair needs to the Line Manager for timely resolution.
