Main duties of the job
To take the lead role in the assessment, diagnosis and treatment of musculoskeletal/ Hand and Wrist patients. Provide specialist education and teaching. To contribute towards departmental research and audit in this clinical area. To ensure the teams deliver effective care to clients, presenting with musculoskeletal injuries by providing excellent clinical and organisational leadership. To act as a Specialist Hand Therapist resource for the multi-disciplinary team within Spire Healthcare. To promote and assist in marketing of service developments to GP's, Consultants and external agencies. To undertake evidence based projects, including recommendations for changes in practice.
