      Job Description

      Job Summary

      Collects, analyzes, monitors, and reports clients escrow accounting financial matters, helping to meet industry compliance with the organization’s financial policies, underwriter guidelines, ALTA Best Practices, and other professional standards. Stewart Financial Services provides escrow accounting services including bank reconciliations, 1099 reporting and unclaimed property reporting, risk assessment and other related services.


      Job Responsibilities
      • Processes daily and monthly bank reconciliations for assigned affiliated offices
      • Responsible for reviewing risk items such as deposits in transit, unmatched wires, etc. for affiliate offices
      • Performs a wide range of support functions to assist in departmental processes
      • Follows clearly defined procedures to complete daily tasks and responsibilities
      • Uses existing procedures to solve straightforward problems without the consistent need to exercise discretion
      • Uses basic communication skills to address internal and/or external clients and/or team members Individual contributor working under direct supervision with little autonomy
      • Performs all other duties as assigned by management

      Education
      • High school diploma required; Bachelor’s preferred

      Experience
      • Typically requires 0-2 years of related work experience
