Main duties of the job
Sulis Hospital, a leading healthcare provider in Somerset, has opportunities for Theatre Nurse Practitioners/ ODPs with Surgical First Assistant 1 or 2 to join our Bank Theatre team. We are looking for motivated and passionate individuals to work flexibly as part of our hospitals clinical theatres and recovery team, providing the highest standards of professional care to patients and to make a positive contribution towards the teams pursuit of excellence.

A friendly manner is essential as you will need to be able to communicate with patients and put them at ease during this vulnerable time along with high attention to detail to ensure your documentation is accurate. You will be responsible for preparing operating and anesthetic rooms for surgery including equipment and supplies required for specific procedures, contribute to team working throughout our theatres suite whilst providing the highest standards of professional care. Various Bank shifts available. If you have NMC or ODP registration and a demonstrable record of CPD with knowledge and experience of theatre professional practice, then we would like to hear from you. For informal conversations or further information, please speak to Mary Hastie,Theatre & Recovery Lead, 01761 422222. Applications will be assessed and responded to as they are received. We reserve the right to bring forward the closing date if sufficient applications are received. Although it is not a legal requirement, we do encourage all our staff to be fully vaccinated.
