      Job summary

      South Western Ambulance Service NHS Foundation Trust (SWASFT) is looking for additional doctors to work in as part of the multidisciplinary team (HCAs, Nurses, Paramedics, Non-Medical Prescribers) at our Tiverton Urgent Treatment Centre. The UTC sees a variety of injuries andillnesses, offering x-ray and point of care testing. We aim to provide care closer to home and relieve pressure on the urgent and emergency care system.

      Main duties of the job

      Key aspects of the role will include:o Face to face consultations directly with patients, relatives and/or their carerso Providing risk-based patient focused careo Working as part of our clinical team to provide primary care supporto Undertake appropriate prescribingo Use point of care diagnostics to support decision makingo Onward referral of patients as appropriateo Contribute to a positive team ethos
