As a Banker for Banner Bank, you will:

• Process client transactions accurately and efficiently, providing excellent customer service and acting as the face of the Bank.
• Assist clients in achieving their financial goals by actively referring Bank products and services and directing clients to other Bank specialists when appropriate.
• Perform quality work within deadlines, with or without direct supervision.
• Work effectively as part of a team on all assignments.
• Maintain high levels of personal reliability and punctuality.
• Sell Bank products and services through in-person and phone interactions, meeting referral standards set by management, and potentially opening new accounts using the Banner Way sales process.
• Ensure compliance with policies, procedures, security requirements, and government regulations.

Education & Certifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.

Experience

• At least 2 years of teller experience, including sales with established goals.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Basic understanding of Windows-based PC applications and calculators.
• Basic math, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
• Effective verbal and written communication skills, including proper phone and email etiquette.
• Good interpersonal and relationship-building skills with excellent customer service.
• Availability to work branch hours.
