  The Cherokee Casino Tahlequah is seeking a motivated Banquet Server to join our dynamic team! In this role, you'll play a critical part in ensuring our guests have an unforgettable experience at our banquets and events. You'll be responsible for coordinating the delivery of delicious food and beverages while providing friendly and attentive service to our valued guests.

  • Coordinate and serve food and beverages, emphasizing a smooth and efficient flow while maintaining a friendly demeanor.
  • Focus on following age verification protocols and responsible alcohol serving practices.
  • Always uphold top-notch cleanliness standards.
  • Refill glasses, clear plates, and keep dining areas clean and organized.
  • Handle all financial transactions for guests.
  • Set up and maintain buffet stations and beverage service areas.
  • Provide exceptional customer service, addressing guest needs promptly and courteously.
  • Work collaboratively with the Banquet Captain and other team members to ensure a smooth event flow.
  • Maintain a professional and positive attitude, contributing to a welcoming atmosphere.

  Requirements

  • We're looking for someone with a minimum of a high school diploma (or equivalent) and at least 3 years of banquet experience. Alternatively, a blend of education and relevant experience will do the trick!
  • Be prepared for a vibrant atmosphere with exposure to smoke, noise, and bright lights.
  • This role requires the ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.

  • Be ready to put your best foot forward with constant standing and walking throughout the shift.
  • Obtaining a Food Handler's Card and a State Issued Alcoholic Beverage License is a must for this position.
