      Hotel Equities, a multi-award-winning hotel development and hospitality management company, is currently searching for a remarkable Banquet/Event Setup Attendant for the Delta Hotels by Marriott in Fargo, ND.

      Job Purpose:

      The Banquet/Event Setup Attendant will greet guests, set up and tear down banquet rooms, utilizing chairs, tables, and A/V equipment for guest functions. They will help maintain an efficient, clean, profitable, and professional banquet space by providing and maintaining high quality service, hospitality, and function room standards.

      The ideal candidate will:

      • Be committed to and passionate about 100% customer satisfaction.
      • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
      • Minimum of 2 years of experience in Banquets or in hospitality is preferred
      • Ability to lift up to 75 lbs. intermittently during workday, and push carts or equipment on wheels in excess of 250 lbs. occasionally.
      • Be able to read, write, and speak English
      • Possess the ability to work independently and with others.
      • Be able to maintain patient and tactful composure when dealing with guests, staff members, and visitors.
      • Have a keen attention to detail.

      Responsibilities:

      • Greets guests and responds to special requests.
      • Responds to guest concerns, complaints or suggestions appropriately, refers them to management in support of providing superior guest service.
      • Set up and tear down of all function room space according to Banquet Event Order (BEO) details and company banquet standards.
      • Keep the banquet rooms, hallways, storage, and banquet kitchen areas neat, clean and well organized.
      • Display proper professional attitude, demeanor and cooperation toward guests, peers and management.
      • Properly handles lost and found items in accordance with department policies and security procedures.
      • Performs other duties as assigned by Management.
      • Keeps immediate supervisor promptly and fully informed of all problems or matters of significance.

      This is the perfect job for someone who likes to clean, has an impeccable eye for detail, and thrives in a self-directed work situation. This position involves continuous movement, regularly bending, lifting, pushing, pulling, carrying, and moving up to 25-50 pounds.
