      !*!Provides comprehensive nutritional care for Temple Health System accredited Comprehensive Metabolic and Bariatric Surgery Program. Provide multidisciplinary evaluation and education of preoperative bariatric patients. Provide nutritional guidance and ongoing education to bariatric surgery patients before surgery, immediately following surgery and in long-term follow-up. Provide nutritional education in-patients and out-patients. Assess nutritional needs, develop and implement individual patient care plans. Participate in multidisciplinary meetings with Bariatric Team members to develop and implement effective patient care plans. Coordinate nutritional needs and plan to effective appropriate preoperative weight loss. Responsible for updating nutritional guidelines for the MBS Program. Work with multidisciplinary team to develop, implement and evaluate medical weight loss guidelines for Temple Health System's comprehensive weight management program. Responsible for updating nutritional variables in program's database. Engage in academic activities related to nutrition, obesity and bariatric surgery.

      Education
      Bachelors Degree (Required)
      Masters Degree : in Clinical Dietetics or related field (Preferred)

      Experience
      2 Years experience providing nutritional care in a patient setting (Required)
      General Experience communicating in Spanish (Bilingual) (Preferred)
      General Experience in an obesity/bariatric setting (Preferred)
      General Experience in supervision (Preferred)

      License/Certifications
      LDN-LIC - PA Dietitian -Nutritionist (Required)
      RD - Registered Dietitian (Required)
