- Prepare a variety of espresso-based beverages like lattes, cappuccinos, and macchiatos, meeting quality standards and guest preferences.
- Engage warmly with guests, understanding their beverage preferences and offering personalized recommendations and exceptional service.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and well-stocked coffee station, monitoring inventory levels and ensuring equipment is properly maintained and calibrated.
- Collaborate with the culinary team to create innovative coffee drinks and stay updated on trends to enhance the hotel's offerings.
- Welcome guests warmly and engage in friendly conversation to understand their beverage preferences.
- Adhere to food safety guidelines, handle perishable items properly, and comply with health, safety, and hotel policies to maintain a clean and safe work environment.
- Previous experience as a barista in a luxury hotel, upscale café, or specialty coffee shop is highly desirable.
- Proficiency in espresso extraction, milk steaming, latte art, and beverage presentation techniques.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to interact effectively with guests and colleagues.
- Attention to detail and a passion for delivering high-quality beverages and service.
- Flexibility to work a variety of shifts, including early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- Certification from a recognized barista training program or equivalent experience is preferred.
- The person having this position may have to be p roficient in seizing, grasping, turning, and holding objects with hands.
- The person having this position may have to stand and/or walk, push, kneel, bend, balance, squat, reach and stretch for eight (8) hours per day.
- Agility in executing fast-paced movements to navigate different areas of the property efficiently.
- The person having this responsibility may have to move, pull, carry, or lift objects weighing at least 50 pounds.

As a Barista, you will be responsible for providing exceptional coffee and beverage experiences to guests in a luxury setting. Your role involves crafting high-quality espresso-based beverages, maintaining a clean and organized coffee station, and delivering personalized service to guests. You will uphold the hotel's standards of excellence while creating memorable moments for guests through your expertise in coffee preparation and presentation.
