  Job Summary

  • As a Barista you’ll be the face of our café and deliver on our mission of providing a safe and welcoming third place for anyone who walks through our door.
  • Kindness, Craft Knowledge, and an Inclusive Attitude are key things we’re looking for our Baristas to embody and uphold .

  
  Essential Functions

  To perform this job, an individual must perform each essential function satisfactorily with or without reasonable accommodation:

  • Prepare and serve a variety of coffee and tea beverages, adhering to company standards
  • Operate espresso machines, grinders, coffee brewers, and other equipment safely
  • Provide high-end customer service with kindness, respect, and empathy at the forefront of all interactions
  • Maintain a clean and organized workspace, including café seating and equipment
  • Restock supplies and ingredients
  • Handle transactions accurately and honestly with our POS system
  • Have a team-oriented attitude and willingness to step in to help one another when needed
  • Other duties as assigned

  Education

  • High school diploma or equivalent

  
  Experience

  • Previous experience as a barista or bartender is preferred, but not required . A food service background is preferred
  • Must have a p assion for coffee, and a desire to learn about brewing techniques and specialty beverages
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, and multi-task effectively
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality over everything
  • Flexible availability, including weekends and holidays.
