- Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages consistently and in accordance with recipes and presentation standards.
- Design and serve creative off-menu cocktails inspired by guest preferences and seasonal ingredients.
- Provide recommendations and pairings for wine and spirits to complement food offerings.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, tools, and storage at all times.
- Assist with opening and closing duties, including inventory counts, restocking, and setup/teardown.
- Collaborate with the restaurant team to ensure smooth service, including supporting servers and kitchen staff as needed.
- Work private dinners, receptions, and other special resort events as a representative of our elevated hospitality standards.
- Uphold all safety and compliance standards, including responsible alcohol service policies.
- Accurately handle transactions, including use of the POS system and reconciliation of receipts.
- Remain knowledgeable of seasonal menus, specialty cocktails, and resort events to assist guests with recommendations.
- Minimum 2 years of bartending experience in a high-quality dining or hospitality setting.
- Strong working knowledge of spirits, wine, beer, and cocktail preparation.
- Creativity in developing and serving original cocktails and personalized guest experiences.
- Ability to multitask, stay organized, and remain composed in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Must be 21 years of age or older and possess (or be willing to obtain) a valid alcohol server certification.
- A collaborative, can-do attitude and commitment to high standards of service.
- Experience using a point-of-sale system and handling cash and credit card transactions.
- Must be able to stand and walk for extended periods, including entire shifts of up to 8–10 hours.
- Frequent bending, lifting, and reaching required.
- Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds occasionally.
- Fast-paced, guest-facing environment that may include outdoor areas depending on the season.
- Evening, weekend, holiday, and special event availability required.
- You will receive $1 per hour worked and $1.50 per overtime hour worked.
- Employees who terminate or resign before the season ends will not participate.
- If the season is shortened due to business levels, you will still receive the bonus.
- Employees in short-term contracted positions, like Lone Mountain Rangers, are also eligible.
- During the summer, you have free access (space permitting) to activities like horseback riding, Lone Mountain Rangers, and Yellowstone National Park tours, as well as yoga.
- In winter, enjoy access to 50 miles of cross-country ski trails.
- Employees receive a 25% discount on cabin bookings made in advance, or a special employee rate if booking 14 days prior to the stay.
- Please note that taxes, fees, and gratuities are not included, and blackout dates apply.
