      MAJOR JOB DUTIES: Duties include, but are not limited to the following:

      • Follow proper register transaction procedures.
      • Adhere to the proper par stock procedures.
      • Have a complete understanding of all applicable laws and regulations concerning service of alcoholic beverages (as directed by Beverage Department).
      • Complete and oversee set-up and clearing of the bar area.
      • Monitor and train novice bartenders as dictated by management.
      • Remain up-to-date on Hotel current events and the hours of operation of all food and beverage outlets.
      • Must have the ability to pour up to 240 drinks per hour on a consistent basis.
      • Must have ability to read and follow specialty drink recipes as prepared by Beverage Manager.
      • Responsible for garnishing all cocktails from the bar area.
      • Maintain consistent and appropriate accountability for all moneys at the bar.
      • Responsible for cash banks and slot banks, exceeding $1,000.00. Proper procedures for handling comps, room charges, credit cards, officer’s checks and coupons.
      • Proper completion of cash turn-in sheets, voids, etc., with appropriate distribution.
      • Maintain a safe and sanitary workplace.
      • Must provide courteous and friendly service to all guests and team members.
      • Performs related work as requested.

      EXPERIENCE: 1 year previous bartending experience.

      EDUCATION : High School Diploma or GED.

      SKILLS: Excellent communication skills. Ability to perform basic math. Skill in establishing and maintaining effective working relationships with staff and other departments. Full knowledge and understanding of company and department rules, policies and procedures. Must possess the disposition to have fun at work and display that spirit to our guests. Ability to read, write, and communicate verbally in English. Working knowledge of Micros.
