- Manage and stock the bar, coordinating orders with the Director of Dining Services.
- Ensure responsible beverage service to prevent overserving.
- Assist with light food preparation and may help train other staff.
- Provide table service and assists in various dining services as needed.
- Ensure timely delivery of food and beverage orders in accordance with company standards.
- Focus on achieving resident and guest satisfaction and responds promptly to their requests.
- Report any concerns or comments from residents directly to the Dining Services Manager.
- Comply with health codes for food handling and maintains safe work practices.
- Possess the ability to make independent decisions when circumstances warrant such action.
- Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists.
- Ability to handle multiple projects.

Qualifications
Level of Formal Education: High School Diploma
Area of Study: General
Years of Experience: Entry-level (1-3+ years)
Type of Experience: Previous bartender and food service experience preferred.
Special Certifications: Obtain/hold any required local, state, and/or county required food handling/sanitation licenses and/or certificates. Must be at least 18 years of age.
Language Skills: Acceptable proficiency in English to perform job duties, communicate with supervisor and other employees, and respond and communicate to emergency situations.
Technical Competencies: Basic computer skills if needed for POS system and ADP.
Skills and Ability:Information Systems: Basic computer skills if needed for POS system and ADP.
Personal Attributes: Maintain a positive and professional demeanor toward customers and co-workers.Additional Information
