- Req#: 568453
- Development of testing methods for battery cells with focus on aging
- Development of accelerated aging test procedures and characterize electrical/thermal and mechanical properties at electrode and cell level
- Create aging models and derive aging predictions
- Development of standardized test and characterization campaigns
- Evaluation and documentation of measurement data, creation of test reports for product release
- Collaboration with internal and external partners such as suppliers, universities and start-ups
- Reporting to internal/external committees
- Dipl.-Ing., Bachelor or Master in the field of chemistry, physics, electrical engineering or mechanical engineering
- Expert knowledge and several years of proven experience in battery cell testing
- Knowledge of battery cell aging mechanisms
- In-depth knowledge of electrochemical characterization methods and test planning
- Specialized knowledge of lithium-ion technologies
- Experience in data analysis
- Working with models and programming skills are an advantage
- Ability to abstract and summarize results
- Strong communication skills, ability to deal with conflicts, openness and interest in making a difference with the team
- Willingness for occasional national/international business trips
- German and English securely spoken and written
