- Maintain and modify the Battery Management System (BMS) for high-voltage trucks operating in extreme temperatures.
- Collaborate with electronics, design, and drive systems teams to ensure seamless integration of battery systems.
- Design and develop new battery systems and technologies.
- Conduct performance and safety tests on battery systems.
- Analyze and interpret test data, preparing technical reports and documentation.
- Work with manufacturing processes to ensure production efficiency and quality.
- Identify and solve technical issues related to battery performance and lifespan.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including design, production, and quality assurance to deliver optimized battery solutions.
- Adhere to and ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.
- Stay updated with the latest advancements in battery technology and integrate them into product designs when feasible.
- Contribute to cost reduction initiatives through design and process improvements.
- Maintain professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops, reviewing professional publications, and participating in professional societies.
- Proficiency in object-oriented C++ programming, preferably C++17 or later.
- Experience with RTOS and unit testing.
- Understanding of battery systems integration and electric drive systems.
- Knowledge of software tools such as Matlab & Simulink for BMS development.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in automotive, construction, and agriculture industries.
- Experience in development processes using pull requests, static analysis, and unit tests.
- Familiarity with tools like Axivion, Google Test, SafeRTOS, Sphinx(RST), Doxygen, Plant UML, and CMake.
- Experience with Jira task tracking.
- Understanding of thermal and cooling systems for battery development.
- Ownership in previous roles with a minimum tenure of two and a half to three years.

Work Environment
The position will initially require working onsite for five days a week, transitioning to a flexible schedule of three days onsite after three months. The work environment is office-based, with a new state-of-the-art office building expected to be completed by November 2025.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $40.00 - $70.00/hr.
