      Your Role

      As a Student Intern in Gensler's Vancouver office, you will join our creative studio environment for an internship opportunity from Monday, March 4th - Friday, March 8th 2024. You must be available for the entire duration of the program.

      What You Will Do

      • You will have an exciting opportunity to work on work-place interiors projects as a fully collaborative member of a design team, participating in design charrettes to help define strategic goals for our clients, large or small.

      • Collaborate with designers, architects, directors, and managers to plan, design, develop and gain real-world experience working with clients across a spectrum of industries and locations.

      • In addition to hands-on learning, you will experience educational sessions, either in-person or virtual, and mentorship opportunities that include lectures, project tours (when safely possible) and vendor visits.

      • Enjoy the rich culture of our office and firm by experiencing educational sessions and mentorship opportunities that include lunch and learns, lectures, vendor presentations and project tours.

      Your Qualifications

      • You are currently enrolled in a Bachelor’s or Master’s program in Interior Design, Interior Architecture or Architecture.

      • Experience using Revit required, AutoCAD, and/or BIM modeling, Enscape software a plus.

      • Experience with Adobe Creative Cloud Suite (Adobe PhotoShop, Illustrator, InDesign).

      • 3-D computer rendering skills (Enscape, Sketch Up, 3-D Max, and/or other modeling software).

      • Proficiency with MS Office (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint).

      • Hand sketching ability a plus.

      • Communication and flexibility to work in a hybrid work setting, within the office and from your home.
