What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Assess and address beaver nuisance problems in FWP Region 4
- Develop and implement beaver coexistence projects for non-lethal management
- Organize education and outreach events for partners and agencies
- Implement cost-share programs for beaver conflict mitigation work
- Submit regular status reports and maintain necessary equipment and supplies
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Bachelor’s degree in wildlife biology or related field preferred
- Minimum 1 year of experience in wildlife or natural resource management
- Understanding of riparian/wet meadow restoration practices
- Experience working with diverse landowners and agricultural producers
- Excellent people skills and ability to work independently
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Experience with light construction projects
- Basic computer skills
