Qualifications
This is an Illinois Municipal Retirement Fund (IMRF) pension eligible position.
Description: Our District has an exciting Before & After Care Program for children in Kindergarten thru 5th grade called "Beyond the Bell". We are seeking an Assistant Site Coordinator to plan, lead, participate, supervise, and implement the activities for children ages 5 -11 years old. Selected individual will plan, organizes and implements after-school activities while ensuring proper supervision and adequate staffing. Selected individual will ensure the safety of the children as well as insure a smooth operation of program activities such as arts & crafts, stories, indoor/outdoor play, homework etc. Selected individuals will be assigned to specific district 64 school in Park Ridge.
Qualifications: This position requires two to three years of experience working with children ages 5-11 and an advanced level written and verbal communication in the English language. Must be CPR/AED and first-aid certified or have the ability to become certified (through our district) prior to the onset of the program.
Availability: We are seeking applicants to work weekday mornings and afternoons.
Approximate available shifts are:
6:45 A.M. – 9:00 A.M. Monday through Friday
3:15 P.M. – 6:15 P.M. Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday
