  Minimum Qualifications:

  • Possess a Master’s degree from an accredited college or university with a major in Social Work; AND Have an LLMSW or LMSW from the State of Michigan Department of Consumer and Industry Services. LLPC/ LPC also accepted.
  • Must meet qualifications of a Child Mental Health Professional (CMHP) and/or Mental Health Professional (MHP) per the Michigan PIHP/CMHSP Provider Qualifications per Medicaid Services
  • Applicant must have an Infant Mental Health Certification and possess a minimum Level II Endorsement in Infant Mental Health OR possess a minimum Level II
  • Endorsement in Infant Mental Health.
  • Possess a valid motor vehicle operator or chauffeur's license, and auto insurance.
    Must possess knowledge and have an understanding of co-occurring disorders (mental health and substance abuse).

  Essential Job functions:

  1. Provide home- and community-based, relationship-focused therapy to children ages 0–6 and their caregivers
  2. Deliver individual, family, and group therapy, as well as case management and support services
  3. Maintain MDCH-required home-based service hours based on the child’s medical necessity
  4. Conduct clinical assessments, develop diagnoses, and create person/family-centered treatment plans
  5. Monitor client progress and coordinate behavioral health and related services
  6. Maintain accurate, up-to-date documentation in both electronic and paper charts
  7. Participate in individual, reflective supervision and team meetings to strategize client support
  8. Provide 24/7 crisis intervention support on a rotating basis
  9. Ensure documentation meets funder and Easterseals MORC standards
  10. Authorize and deliver only medically necessary and approved therapeutic services
  11. Use trauma-informed approaches and support clients with co-occurring and trauma-related issues
  12. Complete MichiCANS/PECFAS assessments quarterly for all clients
  13. Travel throughout the service area using a personal or agency vehicle to deliver community-based care
