- Collaborate with and provide professional development to assist and support school personnel in understanding Tier 1 behavior and social-emotional deficits and improving communication skills in teachers and ultimately students
- Develop and coordinate supports to assist campuses and classroom teachers in the necessary system supports for Tier 1 behavior and social-emotional learning with proactive and positive corrective responses toward misbehavior
- Provide training and coordination in Routines and Procedures to assist campuses and teachers with struggling students
- Keep Region 12 educators abreast of current trends and issues related to researched best practices for campus behavior supports and social-emotional learning
- Master's degree preferred
- Valid Texas teaching certificate
- Experience in public education in campus/district coaching
- Experience as a classroom teacher
- At least 7 years of relevant experience
- Knowledge and demonstrated competency in systems thinking
- Thorough knowledge of Behavior Supports
- Ability to interpret policy, procedures, and data
- Excellent organization and communication skills
- Positive attitude, self-starter, and team player
- Professionalism, integrity, respect for others, expertise and credibility at all times

- ESC Region 12 provides monetary contribution up to $575 per month to use for employee/family healthcare and supplemental benefits.
