The ideal candidate is required to safely carry out numerous types of logging runs. This includes the handling of explosive material for perforating runs and fishing operations, as well as the use of radioactive sources for formation correlation and interpretation. A successful candidate must be a team player and be an efficient member of a 2-person crew. Technical knowledge of the tools and logging equipment on the logging trucks is a requirement. The candidate needs to have good housekeeping, mechanical, and troubleshooting skills.

• Performing Gamma/Neutron logging runs in various well bores, both off of a service rig and not off of a service rig.

• Perform explosive logging runs including various types of perforating guns and pipe cutting/severing tools.

• Responsible to ensure that yourself and crew adhere to completing quality Safe Work Plans, Daily equipment inspections, Hazard identification and risk mitigation.

• Logging truck maintenance, housekeeping, explosive inventory checks and inspections.

• Be on call for open hole logging operations and other logging support required by the Mosaic drilling rig.

• Participate in Moring shift starts and be actively engaged in discussions, complete monthly safety meeting and training that is provided on site. Participate in behavior-based safety (SABER).

What you’ll need:

• Certification: Blaster’s certificate, Stuart Hunt and Associates Radiation Training, First Aid, Class1A or 3A driver's license and other pertinent training is an asset but not required.

• Experience: Minimum 1 Year logging experience 3 years industrial experience.

• KNOWLEDGE:

• Computer Skills: Must be familiar with logging acquisition systems. Preferably Lea Specialties Software. Well view, NeuraView/NeuraLog, SAP are an asset but not required.

• A strong safe working attitude. Respect Co- Workers. Very good communication skills. A willingness to improve and enforce policies and procedures.

• Valid Class 3A or 1A Saskatchewan Driver’s License is preferred with a class 5 as a minimum.
