      Job Description

      Bell Person (Seasonal, August to November)

      Join our team as a Bell Person at our prestigious hotel in beautiful Jasper, Canada for the bustling summer season from May to October. As the first point of contact for many of our guests, you'll play a crucial role in creating a welcoming and memorable experience.

      Starting Rate of Pay : $19.15 per hour

      Your Job Duties Include :

      • Greet and assist guests upon arrival, providing a warm welcome and setting the tone for their stay
      • Transport guests to and from the property, ensuring their comfort and safety
      • Efficiently handle luggage and other items, delivering them to guest rooms or designated areas
      • Familiarize guests with their rooms, explaining amenities and features such as temperature control and parking options
      • Maintain the cleanliness and proper functioning of the hotel's vehicle fleet
      • Provide information about local attractions, dining options, and hotel services to enhance guest experiences
      • Assist with various guest requests and inquiries, demonstrating excellent customer service skills
      • Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless guest experiences
      • Maintain a professional and friendly presence in the lobby, offering assistance and opening doors for guests
      • Perform other duties as assigned to support the overall operation of the hotel

      Qualifications

      Your Skills & Qualifications :

      • Previous guest service experience required
      • Valid Class 5 Alberta Driver's license and a clean driver's abstract
      • Class 4 Alberta Driver's license is an asset (permanent colleagues will need to obtain within the probationary period)
      • Physical fitness to handle luggage and stand for extended periods

      Additional Information

      Visa Requirements: Must be legally eligible to work in Canada. The hotel is unable to assist candidates in obtaining Canadian work authorization.
