Creates patient financial responsibility letters based on the benefits documented.
Calls the patient to review financial responsibility and obtain payment information.
Reviews patient accounts to initiate communication with the patient.
Provides patient updates to the applicable teams.
Assists with entering patient referrals.
Prioritizes and organizes tasks to be completed.
Performs other duties as assigned.
Excellent written and verbal communication
Organization
Time Management
Professional
HS diploma or GED required.
Insurance experience preferred.
Knowledge of medical terminology required.
Proficient computer skills and Microsoft Office Products required.

Job Details:
Responsible for supporting the Insurance Verification Team with daily activities including completion of patient calls, financial responsibility letters, processing patient payments and entering/updating patient demographics in the system.
