- Req#: 128
- Perform compliance testing for NTCA benefit plans and recommend appropriate action for resolution of testing failures,
- Monitor activities related to termination of benefits in NTCA retirement plans and assist in the transfer of assets between plans,
- Review qualified domestic relations orders and qualified medical child support orders,
- Develop appropriate communications for affected parties concerning benefits compliance issues,
- Assist in the release of annual benefits program communications for benefit plan participants and NTCA member companies,
- Recommend enhancements to work processes and procedures,
- Stay up to date on changes to regulations and legislation affecting benefit programs.
- Robust problem solving and analytical skills.
- Ability to research and analyze information to determine appropriate responses to complex questions.
- Effectively and professionally communicate technical and complex information.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills are a must.
- The ability to understand and apply complex concepts and a background in employee benefits or accounting and an understanding of regulatory requirements impacting benefit plans is helpful.

NTCA-The Rural Broadband Association is looking for an employee benefits/human resources expert to join our benefits compliance team. NTCA provides a comprehensive array of health, retirement and other benefit plans to its member companies that can be tailored to meet the needs of each company. Our team of benefits compliance specialists provide technical advice and consulting support to NTCA’s member companies, benefit plan participants, and staff regarding compliance with Department of Labor, Internal Revenue Service, Pension Benefit Guaranty Corporation, Center for Medicare and Medicaid Services rules and regulations for the NTCA benefit plans.
