      Position Responsibilities:

      • The Benefits Specialist will receive, respond to, and resolve complex benefit questions, concerns, and problems from employees, HR, and leadership through high volume phone calls and emails.
      • Research rules, plan documents, CBAs, and regulations to provide accurate benefit resources and materials regarding benefit eligibility, options, and applicable timelines to employees and HR.
      • Receive, process, and audit benefit enrollments and changes according to established policies and procedures.
      • Assist with development and presentation of benefits communications, surveys and informational materials related to regulatory changes, annual enrollment, health screenings, acquisitions, or any other required communication.
      • Research and resolve data-related issues and ensure integrity and accuracy of benefits data through audits and reconciliation of self-billing invoices; correct discrepancies in coordination with HR, finance, and vendors as required.
      • Participate in compliance-related matters in partnership with internal and external vendors, including (but not limited to) assisting in completion of annual plan audits, non-discrimination testing, and other similar items.
      • Other duties as assigned

      Required Education and Experience:

      • Bachelor’s Degree with 3 plus years of related experience or High School Diploma with 6 plus years of specific experience

      Preferred Education and Experience:

      • Master’s Degree
