What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Provide guidance and support to employees regarding benefits and employee relations matters
- Assist in the development and implementation of employee programs and policies
- Conduct training sessions and workshops related to benefits and employee relations
- Collaborate with various departments to address employee concerns and resolve issues
- Maintain accurate records and documentation related to employee benefits and relations
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in benefits administration or employee relations
- Strong knowledge of federal and state employment laws and regulations
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and HRIS systems
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Professional certification in Human Resources (e.g., SHRM-CP, PHR)
- Experience working in a higher education environment
- Familiarity with benefits administration software
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
