Description
Ansley Golf Club is seeking a Beverage Cart Attendant ***Bartending Experience Required***

The Beverage Cart Attendant enhances the golfing experience for the guest. This position reports to the club’s Food and Beverage Manager.
Specific Job Responsibilities
The Beverage Cart Attendant’s overarching responsibility is to maximize the food and beverage & golf experience for our members and guest. This and outstanding customer service is top priority over all.
• Ensures the beverage cart’s presentation and appearance is always clean, pleasing to the eye, and impeccable in its presentation.
• Mixes, prepares and serves consistent alcoholic and specialty beverages for the members on the golf course.
• Prepares garnishes, stocks and maintains liquor, beer and wine products
• Ensures all members and guests receive the highest level of service.
• Complete a daily inventory log.
• Is responsible for cash handling and the accuracy of receipts at day’s end.
• Complete the day end close out report through the point of sales.
• Is responsible for the cleanliness of the beverage cart at days’ end.
• Follows and implements the management directives, programs, and policies.
• Incorporates safe work practices and safe food handling standards.
Financial and Reporting
• Understands the basics of theft, waste, and pricing of beverage cart inventory items.
• Has the ability to complete a daily sales and inventory sheet with accuracy.
• Has the ability to use the point of sales system.
Requirements
Required Skills
• Minimum of 1 year of bartending experience required.
• Previous private club experience preferred.
• The ability to provide exemplary member and customer service.
• The ability to sell (and up-sell) food and beverage to guests by being cordial, helpful, and sincere.
• Must have a thorough working knowledge of the club’s food and beverage operation.
• The endurance and commitment to work the long hours and weekend work that the club business requires.

• Walk, sit, stand for long periods of time, bend, use hands to handle, or feel; and talk or hear, stoop, kneel, crouch, close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision depth perception and ability to adjust focus.
• Lift up to 25 lbs. regularly; up to 50 lbs. occasionally and to lift overhead and push/pull, move lighter objects.

• Be exposed to outside weather conditions including temperatures over 90 and below 40 degrees and occasional rain.
• Indoor conditions that may be very hot or cold.
• Work near: moving mechanical parts, fumes, toxic or caustic chemicals.
• Noise level in the work environment is frequently loud
