The Business Intelligence Analyst role is a multi- faceted position. You will play a crucial role in proactive analysing and transforming live data into actionable insights, providing valuable information to guide strategic business decisions. You will provide analytics and consulting, deliver on ad hoc requests, and work on analytics products. Across these varied engagements your primary responsibility is to enable our organization to extract the most value possible from our data asset You will be responsible for: * Bringing together data from various sources and working with structured and unstructured data to provide meaningful, user-friendly outputs. * Developing and delivering dashboards and reports as per business requirements using BI Software (Power BI) and other tools. * Developing and managing data sources and data pipelines to support business and self-service BI Reporting. * Conduct proactive and reactive ad hoc analysis to support the business enquiries and decision-making process. * Applying appropriate data governance to your solutions aligning with our data standards and controls. You will demonstrate understanding of the business strategy and initiatives, business processes and the underlying systems and data sources. * Analyzing large amounts of information to discover & validate trends and patterns. * Leveraging advanced analytics approaches such as data mining and probability predictions to forecast outcomes and identify hidden customer behavior. * Presenting your analysis to the business community using data visualization and storytelling techniques ensuring that data elements are clear, well defined, and unambiguous. About you: * Proven level of expertise in modern data analytics approaches / techniques. Experience across Data, Technology and/or Finance is desirable. * A tertiary qualification in Information Systems, Data Analysis, technology or similar. * Proficiency in Excel, Power BI, SQL and other major BI Tools with a proven track record of delivering data-driven insights and reports. * An enthusiasm for data analytics and motivated to be the best you can be in this exciting and rapidly changing landscape. * You are naturally curious with a strong attention to detail and motivated to go the extra mile to deliver outstanding outcomes. * You have high data literacy and technically capability, but also someone who equally enjoys working in the business and building relationships. * You are comfortable working in a fast paced and dynamic work environment, are highly consultative, confident to voice your opinion when necessary and pride yourself on being a good listener. * Possess strong attention to detail, reconciliation, and testing. Highly organized and reliable * Excellent communication skills with an ability to interact with different stakeholders, both non-technical and technical.
