- Greets customers promptly and determines needs quickly to maintain a service workflow
- Builds customer confidence and helps make selections to enhance the on-mountain experience for our guests through Four Mountain Sports products and services
- Demonstrates product uses and operation and provides details about merchandise specifications, maintenance, care, delivery, and warranties
- Gathers customer information, and assesses bikes being brought in for service using a multipoint inspection and then writes a detailed service order for our bike mechanics to maintain a service workflow and proper guest communication
- Utilizes the company’s POS system to create or update customer profile records, process discounts and payments, administer exchanges and returns, provide change and receipts
- Assists in maintaining and organizing the back-stock room
- Responsible for keeping the sales floor area clean, organized and always stocked
- Identifies and monitors security issues and notifies management; helps prevent loss and theft of cash and inventory
- Other duties as assigned
- High School diploma or equivalent preferred
- Knowledge of bikes
- Knowledge of company policies and procedures
- Understanding on how to assist customers and meet their needs effectively
- Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively
- Ability to do basic problem-solving
- Proficiency in communicating clearly both verbally and in writing to team members and customers
- Ability to work in collaboration with others to achieve team goals
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision, completing work at a high standard
- Ability to engage with customers in a positive and helpful manner
- Ability to develop strong working relationship with those contacted in the course of work
- Ability to stand, walk or be on your feet for extended periods of time. Kneeling and bending may be required
- Regularly work indoors with no adverse conditions. Some positions require exposure to outdoor elements or a combination of both indoors and outdoors and may be required to walk on slippery and uneven surfaces
- Must be able to frequently lift, push or pull up to 50 lbs. individually or with assistance

Job Description
Position Summary
The Bike Sales Associate assists customers to ensure they have a fun and memorable shopping experience by providing them with product knowledge, options, and accessories at Four Mountain Sports. This role is responsible for writing bike service orders for bike mechanics. Bike Sales Associates are responsible for providing exceptional customer service and making a life-long customer, not just a sale. This role reports to the Store Manager.
Applications for this position will be accepted until June 30, 2025 for the 2025 Summer Season.
