    • Works collaboratively and performs duties as assigned by English Learner Program Leader, EL Teachers, building principals, and teachers

    • Ability to work with non-English speaking students

    • Proficiency in written and spoken Portuguese/Spanish and English

    • Bilingual Assistant (Arabic)--Multiple locations

      One full-time Bilingual Assistant position will support students and families in collaboration with the entire K-12 English Learning instructional team. They are responsible for assisting the English Learner Program Leader and the Building Principal with various projects, providing support in content, literacy, and language for students from a range of language backgrounds, and acting as an interpreter in various school situations.

      Proficiency in written and spoken Arabic and English required. The Bilingual Assistant will work the day shift and occasional evening meetings, 6hrs per day on a 186 day calendar. Travel to different school sites is necessary.

      Job Duties:

      *Salary Range $26.17/hr to $33.36/hr*
