- Local Travel: 25%
- Hourly Compensation: $21.63
- Pay schedule semi-monthly

- Bachelor's Degree in Psychology, Counseling, Social Work, Sociology, Criminal Justice, Public Health, or other social sciences.
- A minimum of one year experience working within a housing program, or working with survivors of domestic and sexual violence, or similar in a social service setting working with vulnerable populations with clients from a diverse background.
- Experienced in Microsoft Office specifically Excel and Outlook.
- Bilingual in both English and Spanish, able to read, speak, and write in both languages fluently.
- You have a valid Texas driver’s license with a good driving record; reliable transportation; ability to travel to off-site locations utilizing personal transportation.
- You will provide pro-active Case Management which include but not limited to: Motivational interviewing, crisis intervention, evaluating/assessing clients to determine their needs, connecting clients with services, such as financial assistance, counseling or health care, assisting clients in developing plans for addressing their long-and-short term needs and goals, following up with clients to make sure that they are getting the supportive services that they need by establishing a system of weekly contacts with clients.
- You will network with community organizations to provide appropriate referrals for client needs.
- You will to help break down barriers, Mobile Advocacy may be required. This includes meeting the client in the community at home, work or other safe places, etc. and accompany clients to appointments as needed.
- You will maintain accurate records, reports, and files.
- You will work towards constantly improving skills/knowledge related to job duties by seeking appropriate workshops, seminars and conferences to attend.
- You will assist Manager on maintaining program budget.
- You will evaluate and make recommendations concerning client services and programming.
- Other duties may be assigned.

Being a Bilingual Case Manager within the Housing Department, you will assess survivor's needs, connect clients to appropriate services, and advocate for the client, to ensure the provision of comprehensive services meet the identified needs/goals. The Bilingual Case Manager will implement services with a trauma-informed, evidence-based and client-centered approach to assist clients towards self-sufficiency.
