What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Develop trust and rapport with families in a linguistically and culturally appropriate manner
- Conduct needs assessments and provide counseling and support services to families
- Coordinate case management services aligned with the Unconditional Care treatment model
- Serve as a liaison between families and service providers
- Maintain accurate documentation and input information into electronic databases
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Bachelor’s degree with 3 years of experience working with migrant, refugee, or asylum-seeking families
- Proficiency in Spanish, Mam, Q’anjob’al, and/or Ki'che' (Quiché)
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Must be at least 21 years of age
- Valid driver's license and insurability with the employer's automobile policy
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Master’s degree in social work, counseling, or related field
- Experience with case management, family finding and engagement, or working with migrant, refugee, or asylum-seeking families
