      As a bilingual directory assistance agent, you will be responsible for providing support to all users of the network covered by Canada's leading residential telecommunications provider. This is an ideal position for someone with excellent communication skills and the ability to provide clear and accurate information.

      What we offer:

      • A competitive salary of $18.65/hour (includes a bilingual bonus of $3.00/hour of work);
      • A night premium of $1.50/hour and a weekend premium of $0.25/hour;

      Responsibilities

      Your typical day :

      • Answer calls and provide the following services:
        • Directory assistance (411);
        • International call transfer (0);
        • Emergency call forwarding (911).
      • Perform various tasks simultaneously such as:
        • Listen actively to the request and question, as needed, to clarify what is being sought;
        • Do a search in the computerized application and take note of the information in the required fields.
      • Demonstrate rigour in the respect of the various objectives and procedures established;
      • At all times, offer courteous and professional service and support in line with the expected quality standards;
      • When necessary, identify and communicate irregular situations.

      Qualifications

      What you need to succeed:

      • Eligibility criteria:
        • Be available to work full-time Monday to Sunday, 7:00 a.m. to 11 p.m. Atlantic time – please note that, as a 24/7 business line, you may be required to work night shifts (11 p.m. to 7:00 a.m.) depending on business needs;
        • Reside near the Nordia Moncton centre to be able to commute every work day;
        • Fluently bilingual (English and French) with excellent oral and written communication skills, to be able to communicate effectively with callers and professionals across Canada.
      • Typing speed of 30 words/minute;
      • Ability to multi-task in a computerized environment;
      • Excellent communication skills - You can express yourself clearly and concisely;
      • Excellent attention to detail and a genuine desire to help others - customer service and problem-solving are your strengths!
      • High school diploma or equivalent;

      Training start date: June 16th
