  The National Life, Disability & Wellness Team is looking for a self-motivated Bilingual Calculation Analyst, who thrives on delivering value, is customer-obsessed, and excited to work with a small yet dynamic team. They will have good understanding of group disability contract language, and the impact various sources of income have on disability benefits. Strong mathematical and negotiation skills are required.

  Position Responsibilities:

  • Calculate and code offsets and the adjusted STD/LTD benefit in Navigator

  • Inform Plan Member of the overpayment amount with clear explanations both verbally and in writing.

  • Follow-up with Plan Member for reimbursement of overpayment and negotiate an acceptable repayment plan when necessary.

  • Proceed with claim recoveries in Navigator

  Required Qualifications:

  • Strong customer service focus; ability to be empathetic while delivering sometimes difficult messages

  • Strong math skills

  • Very comfortable with Office 365; most notably Excel and Word

  • Able to read and interpret group insurance contracts and apply their provisions

  • Exceptional communication skills, both oral and written.

  • The successful candidate will be required to communicate in English and French to support clients from various provinces outside of Québec.

  • Strong negotiation skills

  • A capacity for constant learning from both success and failure

  • Open to change and continuous improvement

  Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with Navigator is an asset

  • Experience in disability benefit calculations is helpful

Cette personne doit avoir une bonne compréhension de la terminologie du contrat d’assurance d’ invalidité collective ainsi que l’incidence sur les prestations d’invalid ité qu ’autres sources de revenu ont . D e solides compétences en mathématiques et en négociation sont requises .

  Responsabilités

  • Calculer et chiffrer les déductions et la prestation /ICD d’ILD rajustée dans le système Navigator

  • Informer le participant au régime du montant du trop-perçu en lui fournissant des explications claires par écrit ainsi que par téléphone .

  • Faire un suivi auprès du participant pour obtenir le remboursement du trop-perçu et négocier un plan de remboursement acceptable, le cas échéant.

  • Procéder au recouvrement des demandes de remboursement dans Navigator

  • Expérience avec Navigator est un atout

  • Capacité à lire et à interpréter les contrats d’assurance collective et à en appliquer les dispositions

  • Compétences exceptionnelles en communication, tant à l’oral qu’à l’écrit.

  • Bilinguisme Français/anglais requis

  • Solides aptitudes pour la négociation

  • Capacité à constamment tirer des leçons des réussites et des échecs

  • Ouverture au changement et à l’amélioration continue

  Atouts :

  • Expérience dans le calcul des prestations d’invalidité souhaitée

  Salary range is expected to be between

  $40,425.00 CAD - $67,375.00 CAD
