      We are currently looking for a Bilingual Discounter Representative to join our team in Mississauga, ON (Hybrid).


      This role is responsible for providing telephone support and backing up the departmental supervisor. Responsibilities also include discounting, booking and processing payments of lease and loan contracts, resolving dealer inquiries/concerns. Also resolves discounting questions and concerns for Discounters and other departments.

      Job functions Include but are not limited to:

      • Dealer Service: Answer dealer telephone questions, in a queue, related to lease/loan contracts; research questions that are unique provide options or alternatives to dealers.
      • Supervisory back up including processing of daily discounting report, payment reject reports, disbursement approvals, registration reports, recording department attendance, promo code set-up, dealing with concerns and questions related to discounting from other departments and co-workers.
      • Discounting lease and loan deals including analysis, ensuring all documentation required by NCF policy and law is received from the dealer and customer, and that all information related to the deal is verified (e.g. checking payment calculations). Follow-up with dealer to obtain missing documents or information and correct any errors. Enter all information related to the deal in system (e.g. worksheet, customer information) to finalize discounting and booking. Ensure it balances and complies with policy. When correct, process, balance and book the lease or loan contract. Ensuring all documentation meets legal, credit authority and NCF policy requirements.

      Minimum Qualifications:

      • Minimum of High School diploma and 1 + year of work experience in customer service along with office/administrative support. Preference will be given to those in a current funding role.
      • Bing bilingual, in both French and English (written and spoken) is mandatory
      • Capable to be firm and assertive with dealers over the phone
      • Attention to detail and accuracy
      • Problem-solving and decision making skills
      • Solid adaptability to learn new computer systems.
