What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Provide compassionate, bilingual support to constituents using Solution-Focused Brief Therapy (SFBT) techniques
- Educate constituents on Alzheimer’s disease and related dementias, normalizing their experiences and reducing stigma
- Connect constituents to local resources, education, and crisis services as needed
- Document call interactions accurately, including presenting concerns and action plans
- Handle emotionally charged situations with empathy and professionalism
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Master’s degree in social work, psychology, or counseling
- Minimum of 1 year of relevant experience
- Bilingual skills (English/Spanish) required
- Ability to utilize SFBT techniques and core clinical skills in brief interactions
- Strong computer skills and familiarity with the healthcare system, mental health services, and Alzheimer’s disease
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Master’s degree in social work, psychology, or counseling with licensure (LSW, LCSW, LPC, LCPC)
- 2-3 years of experience in a related field
- Experience with culturally responsive support for Spanish-speaking constituents
- Strong skills in managing emotionally intense interactions
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
